Before Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, the early church was already living faithfully in quiet, ordinary ways. In Acts 1:12-26, we see the disciples gathered in prayer, devoted to Scripture, and seeking God’s guidance as they choose a replacement for Judas Iscariot.
