1. Grow and support our church in so many local, national, and overseas missions efforts.
2. Hold weekly worship services here at FBCW for our church and community through singing, study, prayer, and fellowship.
3. Continue and create exciting new ministries at home and abroad to disciple and share the gospel.
4. Maintain the many ministries that help equip us to make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus.
"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

On Sunday mornings, you may give at offering plates seen as you enter any Sanctuary entrance. You may also use the drop-box located in the Lobby on the wall opposite the elevator by Bearden Hall.

Matching Gifts
Please get in touch with your employer's human resources department to check if they offer a matching gift program. Once you complete the required forms, your employer will match any gift you make to First Baptist Church of Woodbridge according to their program.
Appreciated Stock, Bonds, Mutual Fund Shares
Gifts of appreciated stock, bonds, and mutual fund shares offer additional tax savings. You avoid capital gains taxes for a stock held longer than a year. You also receive a tax deduction for the total value of the stock, bond, or shares on the date of transfer.
We can assist you with a direct transfer from your brokerage firm or accept actual stock and bond certificates. The IRA requires a minimum distribution for those aged 73 or older. If desired, we can assist you and your broker in qualified charitable distributions directly to FBCW.

Planned Giving/Estate Planning Options
Want to help First Baptist Church of Woodbridge spread the Gospel to future generations? Consider making a gift to FBCW in your Last Will & Testament. Another similar option is to name the church as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, IRA, or 401K. FBCW does not need to be a 100% beneficiary, but you might consider 10% or more.
